4. Education in a variety of contexts --from university graduate programs, community seminars, to workshops for high school and elementary school students.
Teaching has become increasingly important to me as a way to build the community of practitioners I want to work with. I’ve taught public art, design, and writing at:
-
Media Design Practices MFA program at Art Center College of Design
-
CalArts Graphic Design Department
-
Pomona College
-
Parsons School of Design
-
Portland State University’s Social Practice Arts Studio.
Currently, I’m working with the Atlanta Regional Commission on a class for professional practitioners working between regional government, public policy, organizing, and art. It’s been a gratifying experience with really tangible outcomes. Follow that work here.
